The Philips GoGear Muse is a portable media player designed by Philips to replace the GoGear Opus as their new flagship PMP. It includes a larger 3” WWVGA display, as well as a digital FM radio and an included pair of noise-canceling headphones. Included with the Muse is Philip’s new proprietary FullSound technology designed to equalize varying tones from musical tracks. This results in higher-quality audio with more precise lows and highs. Note that the Muse PMP plays BOTH audio and video files, including — but not limited too — MP3s, MPEG4s, and MMV9s. It also hosts a rechargeable battery that Philip’s claims can handle 30 hours of continuous music or 6 hours of continuous video. At the moment, the GoGear Muse is scheduled for release in Singapore; we do not yet know if it will be hitting the States as well.
