The Philips SRU8015/37 (aka Philips 15-Device Universal Remote) is a universal remote control that can control up to 15 devices out of a choice of 25. It features an easy to read, backlit, high resolution, 2 inch LCD screen. It also contains a large library of channel icons for most countries' main TV. There is no manual needed for set-up and no codes to look up as it has the capabilities of learning from another IR remote control. It is loaded with an extensive infrared code database for most devices and brands.

- can create activities - turns on multiple devices for a specific purpose
- support for 6 languages
- 400 included icons for the most popular channels
- slick aesthetic
- good build quality
Cons
- database is outdated - newer devices need to be input manually
- activities cannot be edited once created
- no way to re-order custom commands / activities - always found at the bottom of the list!
- no 'softkeys' - keys cannot be assigned custom key sequences (macros / activities)
- poor documentation
