The Philips TSU9600 is a universal remote control from Philips' Pronto Series that can be used to control an entire home theater setup. The remote is an upgrade to the TSU9400 since it features a larger 3.7" color LCD touch screen with an activity-based interface for programming multiple activities with just one button. It has an ergonomic design that allows both one or two handed controls and a built-in stylus for greater accuracy. The remote also features laser-engraved tactile buttons which resist fading and includes white backlighting for both the screen and the buttons, making it easy to operate in the dark. The TRU9600 is easy to setup and has a rotary control wheel for easy navigation. It includes preconfigured lighting and music server controls and has customizable buttons that that can be programmed to store functions based on the user's needs. The remote includes WiFi connectivity, has a built-in speaker, and comes with a docking station that also acts as a charger.
