The Cons:Takes a couple hundred hours to break in. Expensive - comes with a lot of extra features some users might not need. Bluetooth supported only with the purchase of an external adapter.

The Pioneer Elite SC-37 is a top home theater audio and video receiver for high definition enthusiasts. The external hardware is the same as the Pioneer Elite SC-35, the only exception being the addition of a third Digital Coaxial input.

Internally, however, new networking entertainment services have been added including a connection to Rhapsody, SIRIUS Internet Radio, and online firmware updates. There are a full 6 HDMI inputs that observe the v1.4a standard for 3D audio and video, and 2 HDMI outputs for other high definition devices. 140 watts of power is sent to 7 audio channels, and Direct Energy HD Amplification is used for distortion-free signal processing. Video output goes to 1080p at 24fps, and can be automatically scaled up to this standard even from an analog signal. Full iPhone control can be run through the graphic user interface, and additional media can be connected via a USB port. Bluetooth enabled wireless devices can also connect to the receiver.
