Pioneer's HDJ-1000 is a higher-end set of headphones, designed mainly for professional DJ usage. The speakers are high-powered, with a max 3500mW power input and 50mm dome drivers, and they have a high degree of sound insulation. The headset has a folding housing with swivel joints, and the housing is padded so that it can rest against your shoulders. They come with a stereo/mono switch that allows left and right channel sound monitoring in a single ear. These headphones also have a very wide range of frequency responses, between 5Hz and 30kHz. They use a coiled cable, approximately 4 feet long, that can extend to about 9 and half feet.
