The Pioneer TS-G1042R 4 inch 2 way speakers, released in June of 2003, can handle 120 watts of power maximum. Pioneer’s IMPP composite cone material is intended to provide better sensitivity and less distortion. The speakers are two way passive speakers and the unit is compatible with 4 hole and 2 hole factory speaker locations. The frequency response of the speakers is 35 Hz to 30 KHz and has an 87 dB sensitivity. High frequencies are delivered via the 3/16 inch tweeters and the units have a 1 ¾ inch mounting depth along with a 4 1/8 inch cut out dimension.
