The Pioneer TS-G1342R, released in January of 2008, is designed with High-Energy Neodymium Magnet and an Aramid Fiber Damper meant to provide better high power handling and improved bass output. The device is able to handle a maximum of 130 watts and features the use of Pioneer’s IMPP composite cone designed to improve sensitivity and reduce distortion. The 5 ¼ inch two way speakers have 1 3/16 inch balanced tweeters for high frequency reproduction and an 89 dB sensitivity. The material surrounding the cones is made from cloth and the unit ahs a 4 ohm rating.
