The Pioneer XW-NAS3 is the company's first attempt at the US market for iPod/iPhone speaker docks. As a well known speaker company, Pioneer has developed a 2.1-channel full-range speaker system which includes a downfiring subwoofer. It is iPhone certified, which means that all the wireless features on the iPhone are functional with the sound dock. The Pioneer XW-NAS3 is Bluetooth Ready so it can take wireless music transmissions from PCs and cell phones, however this feature requires the optional Pioneer Bluetooth adapter which can be purchased at extra cost. The sound dock also includes a compenent and composit video output for playback of stored movies, TV shows, or other video files that the docked device might contain.
