Cons:
Do you agree?

+1agreedisagree

batteries won't last long, and batteries shipped with camera are cheap carbon-zinc, DOA in at least one case
+1agreedisagree

waterproof enclosure doesn't have recessed "on" button, so it gets turned on accidentally while traveling and batteries die

+1agreedisagree

needs to be removed from waterproof enclosure to connect to PC

Details

The camera can be removed from the waterproof enclosure or can be used while enclosed, making it safe for rainy days and on the beach or a pier.

The flash can be set to "auto", though it is by default "off". Wait until the red LED with the "lightning" logo stops blinking before attempting to take a picture that requires the flash.

To retrieve photos from the camera, remove from the waterproof case, and connect to the USB port of your PC. Windows XP or later should recognize the camera as a digital storage device. Double-click the directories until you locate your pictures.
