Although certainly not built for the best quality picture, the 50PC3D is outfitted with a bevy of advanced functions, such as a Cinema zoom that offers 16 levels of cropping and magnification. Also included are 6 nonadjustable modes like Daylight, Normal, Night Time, Movie, Video Game, and Expert, plus one custom setting for making manual adjustments. In addition to this, the LG 50PC3D also hosts a versatile set of connectivity options that include S-Video, Composite, Component, S-Video and HDMI. Plus it comes with a remote and is RS-232c ready.

The LG 42PT350 is a mid-cost plasma TV. The Clear Voice II feature of this TV allows you to choose between twelve audio settings. The 42PT350 comes equipped with three AV modes to optimize audio/visual settings based on content: Cinema, Sports, or Game. The Intelligent Sensor of this TV automatically adjusts visual settings to match room conditions, for optimum brightness. The 42PT350's Picture Wizard gives you a seven-step calibration process, so that you can get a detailed picture that is suited to the content. The TruSlim frame of this TV is less than an inch thick. The 42PT350's DLNA certification means that it is open to playing content from other sources such as PCs. The 600Hz refresh of this TV ensures that fast action scenes will not streak by. This TV differs from the higher cost LG 50PT350 in that the 50PT350 has a fifty inch display as opposed to a forty-two inch display. The LG 42PT350 TV is Energy Star certified.
