good compatibility with previously purchased content and peripherals

Cons

instruments are fairly expensive, $70 for a guitar and $90 for drum kit (almost might as well invest in a real instrument)
Solo Tour Mode now plays like free-form Band Tour Mode, so there's no structured way to play through the game song-by-song
Not many changes or improvements over previous version

driving around is constantly interrupted by enemy vehicles making transportation a big pain
enemy weapons constantly jam which can be frustrating
Takes a very long time to get from one area to another, there is a transportation system but location points are limited.
