Polk Audio Atrium 45p

The Polk Audio Atrium 45p are indoor only, multi-application speakers from Polk Audio's Atrium series.  The speakers feature a single 4.5" long throw polymer cone driver with a butyl rubber suspension and a single 3/4" dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet for a combination of powerful bass and high fidelity sound over large areas.  They are self-powered by built-in 25-watt amplifiers which allow direct connection to an audio source.  They also have a front panel volume control for easy volume adjustment and speaker and line level inputs making it easy to connect them to a variety of electronics.  The Atrium 45p speakers are have a sculpted front baffle and rounded enclosure which minimizes sound diffraction as well as aluminum grilles that have 55% open area for improved sound quality.  The speakers come with built-in brackets which rotate 90 degrees for sound optimization and allow for multiple mounting positions.  They are available in a black finish or in a white finish that can be painted to match your decor and come with a 5 year warranty.  The main differences between the Atrium 45p and Polk Audio's Atrium 45 is that the Atrium 45p is meant only for indoor use, is self-powered, and has built-in controls, while the Atrium 45 requires an amplifier and can be used both indoor and outdoor.
