Polk Audio CS2

 The Polk Audio CS2 is a center channel loudspeaker that sprung out of the original Polk Audio "Monitor" series produced in the mid-1970s. The CS2 is a slightly more expensive version of the CS1 with only slight differences in terms of power. For example, the max power output of the CS2 is 175 watts per channel, where the CS1 is capable of 125 watts per channel. The CS2 center speaker can work with with any Monitor Series speakers in a multi-channel system. A neodymium magnet, a standard for most sound devices works with a 1" Fabric/Polymer composite dynamic balance dome tweeter which serves the purpose of clarifying high frequency response for reproduction of vocals and instruments. A tuned flared port reduces "chuffing" port noise and increases the quality of the sound. Lightweight Bi-laminate composite dynamic balance drivers are used to create damping for high efficiency, bass, and lower distortions. It has a non-resonant all-MDF enclosure and reversible designed cabinents that can be turned upside down to aim up. The Polk Audio CS2 uses magnetic shielding to make sure it is safe to put near other electronic equipment. It comes with three different color finishes, cherry, black, and grille.
