Polk Audio PSW1000

The Polk Audio PSW1000 is a 400-watt subwoofer that features dual 10" dynamic balance magnetically-shielded drivers for 40% more surface area than a single 12" driver which translates into lower distortion and higher sound pressure for improved bass.  The drivers include vented voice coils and pole pieces as well as aluminum formers for better heat dissapation.  The subwoofer also utilizes Polk Audio's Slot Load Vent and PowerPort venting technologies to eliminate port turbulence and noise.  The PSW1000 is designed with a heavy duty MDF cabinet with 1.75" thick side panels and a rigid internal bracing to control vibration and allow for almost no cabinet resonance.  It has adjustable carpet spikes/rubber feet to prevent the subwoofer from moving and includes a front panel control pod for easy access to the subwoofer controls.  The subwoofer comes in a high gloss lacquer finish with either Ebony or Cherry veneer side panels and has a 5 year warranty.
