Polk Audio RM75

The RM75 is the base-line set of home audio speaker bundles in Polk Audio's RM series. This series is designed to give the sound you'd expect from a set of big speakers, but in compact sized speakers. This bundle consists of 5 speakers to be used as a 5.1 surround sound system, without a subwoofer. The RM75 uses Polk Audio's 6-1/8" tall RM7 satellite speakers as fronts and surrounds. These speakers feature one 2-1/2" composite cone midrange and one 1/2" diameter tweeter.  The 9-7/16" wide RM7-C center speaker completes the package, which features two 2-1/2" composite cones and one 1/2" diameter tweeter.  The front and surround speakers can be mounted on a flat surface or to a wall with the included hardware, or can be placed on the optional floor stands.  These speakers also feature a trapezoidal cabinet shape, which not only adds to it's unique compact look, but also reduces inner speaker standing waves and adds strength. This system can easily be expanded to 6.1 or 7.1 surround with the addition of extra satellite speakers. This system is also available as the RM705, which includes a subwoofer.
