The Polk Audio RM8 is a center channel loudspeaker which uses the motto: "Big Speaker Sound Without the Big Speaker". The Polk Audio RM8 is fairly small though the power it puts out is not remarkable for its size and it does not vary from the Polk Audio RM7 in anything significant except for price. It comes with a black (only one color available) non-resonant composite enclosure. The structural design is a three-sided cabinet focus to hopefully minimize its appearance on walls and shelves. The goal of the the RM7 design is for it to be unobtrusive and hidden. It comes with a cradle to make it easy to put it on a shield and measures 3-13/16" height, 9-7/16" width, 3-3/4" depth, the exact same size as the Polk Audio RM7. It is magnetically shielded, making it safe to place next to or near electronic equipment such as computers, computer monitors or TVs.
