Polk Audio SurroundBar360 DVD Theater

The Polk Audio SurroundBar360 DVD Theater is a complete DVD surround theatre system, including DVD console and SurroundBar speaker.  As the name suggests, the SurroundBar is designed to give surround sound from a single "bar" of speakers, eliminating the complication of wiring 5 separate speakers in your home theatre set-up making the sound of your system independant of the room acoustics. This is Pyles mid-sized SurroundBar measuring 44.5" and has 5 surround channel inputs which drive eight 2.5" speakers.  This system is able to produce surround sound by recreating the acoustic effects used by human hearing to determine sound localization.  This speaker bar is attached to the DVD console with the included single speaker cable making set up of this system as simple as possible. The DVD console features HDMI, component video, S-Video and composite outputs for connection with a TV and supports 720p or 1080i HD resolution.  The system has two video inputs as well as RCA analog, fiberoptic and coax digital audio inputs. The unit includes DTS and Dolby Digital decoders for maximum compatibility.
