Pros
- Good value for its price
- it does pretty much everything it says on the tin by way of file types - its small neat and cant be faulted for the price
- Delivers value for each buck spent
Cons
- networking on win 7 takes a bit of tweaking (firmware upgrade promised) its not quite plug and play so complete beginners might be put off initially - though support through forums is good
- Not for beginers

Pros
- all digital outputs - for the highest quality video/audio
- very small - perfect for fitting into your A/V rack/cabinet
Cons
- 2 SATA ports are somewhat limiting, only give room for 1 drive and 1 optical or 2 drives
- somewhat expensive for what you get
- requires you to buy a WiFi card for WiFi functionality
- might be better to buy something like an Eee Box or build a full media PC
