The Canon PIXMA iP6700D is a high-end color inkjet printer with similar design and features to the earlier iP6600D. The Canon PIXMA iP6220D is a basic color inkjet printer meant to be a photo printer, and it includes a 2.5" LCD display on top of the unit, which can then select photos to print. It is essentially the same as the PIXMA iP6210D, upgraded to include the screen and memory slot. It automatically reduces red-eye and improves facial lighting, and the LCD screen can be used to print directly from memory cards. A large step up in terms of functionality, the 6988dt is faster, contains cartridges with 2-3x the ink capacity and has a built in Ethernet port for operation on a network without a host PC required to be online.
