Project Grizzly

A 1996 documentary that follows Canadian inventor Troy Hurtubise through a life-long project of building a suit of armour to battle a grizzly bear.  While venturing in the Canadian north, Hurtubise was attacked by a large grizzly, which he named "The Old Man".  After the bear spares his life, he dedicates his life to perfecting a suit so he can confront the bear again and finish the battle started so many years ago.  Although not intended as a comedy, its hard not to have a chuckle with the larger than life personality of Hurtubise and his crazy antics.  Most notible scenes are the tests of preliminary suits, where he is hit by a truck, a tree truck swung from another tree and thrown down a steep cliff.  Quinton Tarentino himself claims this is one of the best films of 1996.

This movie is freakin' hilarious. I love the Rambo shaving with the HUGE knife. He may be from Hamilton, but he got his crazies from living way up in North Bay!! Haha.

I saw this a while ago on TVO. Very funny. It's awesome to watch him get nailed by the big log swinging from a tree. Gold, Jerry, gold!
