Punch-out is a Wii game that is a remake of the original NES Punch-Out!! It was first revealed at the Nintendo's conference on October 2nd, 2008, and is scheduled for release on May 18, 2009. The game includes new and old characters, new moves and a slightly deeper story line. It is developed by the Canadian developer Next Level Games. Motion control will be used in the game.

Pros
- additional, harder title defense mode after you beat the game once
- most of the original characters are back
- new characters to the series
- head-to-head multiplayer mode
- motion controls are optional
- animations look great
- motion controls make the game more fun
Cons
- reuse of a lot of the old characters
- characters have a lot of the same fight patterns as the original game
- game still revolves around memorizing patterns instead of skill
