The Pyle Audio PLA2230 is a two-channel high-power Mosfet amplifier with a variable hi/low electronic network. The 3000w PLA2230 is an upgrade from the 1400w PLA2200, 1800w PLA2210, and 2400w PLA2220, and includes additional features such as a sub-sonic filter and a MOSFET PWM power supply. The PLA2230, however, does maintain some of its predecessors components such as a variable bass boost, a variable input level (gain) control, power protection LED indicators, and thermal overload short-circuit protection, not to mention an ultra slim design for much improved/simpler installation into a vehicle. The Pyle Audio PLA2230 is priced at $285.42, making it approximately $30-$120 more expensive than its inferior predecessors.
