The Pyle Audio PLA2260 is a two-channel high-power Mosfet amplifier with a variable hi/low electronic crossover network. The sixth amplifier in the Pyle Audio series, the 4000w PLA2260 is an upgrade from the 3000w PLA2230, 2400w PLA2220, 1800w PLA2210, and 1400w PLA2200. In fact, the PLA2260 is one of the most powerful two-channel amplifiers offered Pyle Audio. Its only competitor is the 4000w PLA2850 from the Gear X series. The PLA2260 is slightly less inexpensive at $328.85 (versus $331.23) because it lacks the PLA2850’s remote bass boost, Hi/Low impedance input, and illuminated top panel. The PLA2260, however, does feature a sub-sonic filter, thermal overload short-circuit protection, a MOSFET PWN power supply, and an ultra slim design for simplified installation into a vehicle.
