The Pyle Audio PLA4200 is a four-channel bridgeable Mosfet amplifier with a dual variable hi/low electronic crossover network. The last amplifier in the Pyle Audio series, the PLA4200 is an upgrade from the PLA4120. The PLA4200 supports a superior peak power output of 2000w (versus 1000w) and includes additional features such as an anti-thump turn-on, a soft turn-on circuit, and a remote turn on-off. The PLA4200, however, maintains the PLA4120’s dual MOSFET PWM power supplies, power protection LED indicators, low level inputs, thermal overload short-circuit protection, and ultra slim design for easier/simpler installation into a vehicle. The PLA4200 is priced at $259.29, making it approximately $30 more expensive than its weaker predecessor.
