The Pyle Audio PLCH693 are a pair of 6.0” x 9.0” 3-way coaxial car-audio loudspeakers constructed from a special electroplated Poly injection cone. A change in design from the circular-framed PLCH62, the oval-shaped 360w PLCH693 competes against several other 6x9” Pyle Audio speakers including the 400w PL6984BL, 450w PLG69.5, and 500w PLG69.8. Similar to several of its peers, the PLCH693 contains both a 2.5” film cone midrange and a .5” Neodymium dome tweeter. The PLCH693, however, houses them in a much more sleek and appealing silver design versus, for instance, the PLG69.5’s banana-yellow silhouette or the PL6984BL’s blueberry-blue casing. In addition, the PLCH693 sports a 1.25” hi-temp Aluminum voice coil, a special electroplated Poly injection cone, and a highly renowned concealed magnet. The Pyle Audio PLCH693 is priced at $98.40, making it the most expensive 6x9” loudspeaker offered by Pyle Audio.
