Pyle Audio PLG4.2

The Pyle Audio PLG4.2 are a pair of 4.0” 2-way coaxial car-audio loudspeakers built from a yellow colored poly injected cone. The second speaker in the Pyle Audio Gear X series, the PLG4.2 is in fact an upgrade from its slightly weaker predecessor, the 3.5” PLG3.2. The PLG4.2 offers a higher peak power output (140w versus 120w), an upgraded nominal power output (70w versus 60w), and a superior frequency response (90Hz-20kHz versus 100Hz-20kHz). The PLG4.2 also features a yellow coated steel basket, a hi-temp aluminum voice coil, and an extra strong capacitor designed for improved audio performance. In addition, the PLG4.2 comes equipped with a .5” Neodymium dome tweeter with a non-fatiguing Butyl rubber surround. The Pyle Audio PLG4.2 is priced at $34.00, approximately $7 greater than the PLG3.2.
