Pyle Audio PLG68.3

The Pyle Audio PLG68.3 are a pair of 6.0” x 8.0” 4-way coaxial car-audio loudspeakers constructed from a yellow colored poly injected cone. The PLG68.3 is essentially an oval version of its cousin, the circular 3-way 6.5” PLG6.3. In fact, the PLG68.3 maintains many similar properties such as a 280w peak power output, 140w nominal power output, and 65Hz-22kHz frequency response. The PLG68.3, however, features a 1.75” Polymer cone midrange (versus .5” Neodymium dome) and two tweeters (versus just one). One tweeter is a .5” Neodymium tweeter and the other one is a super film tweeter. The PLG68.3 also includes a hi-temp aluminum voice coil, an extra resilient capacitor for improved power handling, and a rubber magnet cover. The Pyle Audio PLG68.3 is priced at $67.50, a $11.25 increase from the $56.25 PLG6.3.
