The Pyle Audio PLG71.4 are a pair of 7.0” x 10.0” 4-way coaxial car-audio loudspeakers built from a yellow colored poly injected cone. The only 7” model in the Pyle Audio Gear X series, the PLG71.4 maintains many similarities with its smaller cousin, the 5-way 6.0” PLG69.5. For instance, the PLG71.4 also offers a 450w peak power output and 225w nominal power output. The PLG71.4, however, offers a superior frequency response of 40Hz-22kHz (versus 45Hz-22kHz), but it only includes one super film tweeter instead of two. The PLG71.4 also features a non-fatiguing Butyl rubber surround, a hi-temp aluminum voice coil, a 120 oz. Magnet structure, and a rubber magnet cover. The Pyle Audio PLG71.4 is priced at $98.40, making it the most expensive speaker in the Gear X series.
