The Pyle Audio PLS460 are a pair of super slim 4.0” x 6.0” 2-way coaxial car-audio loudspeakers constructed from a Poly-Mica coated woofer cone. The third model in the Pyle Audio Plus series, the PLS460 trumps its 4x6” competitors, the PLG46.2 from the Gear X series and the PLRL462 from the Red Label series, by offering a slim design with a 1.50” mounting depth (versus 1.85”/2.00”). Like both of its peers, the PLS460 also features a Neodymium dome tweeter, but adds along a film cone midrange as well. In addition, the PLS460 maintains it’s peers 1” hi-temp voice coil and custom grill, not to mention a 180w peak power output and 90w nominal power output. The Pyle Audio PLS460 is priced at $38.50, exactly $1 over the PLG46.2 and approximately $4 greater than the PLRL462.
