The Pyle Audio PLWCH10D are a pair of ultra slim 10” DVC subwoofers built from a hi-quality Poly-Mica cone. Part of the Pyle Audio Chopper series, the PLWCH10D competes with the PLCHW10. It supports a reduced peak power output (1000w versus 1400w), but offers a superior sensitivity (90dB versus 83.5dB) and a much improved mounting depth (3.08” versus 6.20”). In addition, the PLWCH10D includes several vital features such as a dual 2” hi-temp Kapton voice coil, independently fused 20 amp speaker terminals, and a 60oz magnet structure. Despite its weaker power output, the Pyle Audio PLWCH10D is nonetheless priced higher than its peer at $92.50 (versus $90), making it a formidable challenger to the PLCHW10.
