The Pyle Audio PLX32 are a pair of 3.5” 2-way coaxial car-audio loudspeakers constructed from a Polypropylene woofer cone. The first model in the Pyle Audio Wave series, the PLX32 competes with the 3.5” PLG3.2 from the Gear X series. The PLX32 supports a reduced peak power output (100w versus 120w) and nominal power output (50w versus 60w), but it does offer a superior frequency response (66Hz-20kHz versus 100Hz-20kHz). The PLX32, however, comes equipped a 1” Mylar dome tweeter versus the PLG3.2’s .5” Neodymium dome tweeter. The PLX32 also features a .75” hi-temp Ferro fluid enhanced voice coil and a rubber boot magnet cover. The PLX32 is priced at $24.99, making it exactly $2 more affordable than the $26.99 PLG3.2.
