The QNAP NMP-1000 is a network media player offered by QNAP as the only model in their NMP series. This compact media player seamlessly integrates with your existing TV and home theater system to give you the ability to enjoy videos, photos, and music stored on the internal hard disk or digital contents from the PCs or NAS on your home network. It has an HDMI 1.3 output, SATA HDD interface, Gigabit network interface and several networking features which lets you play Full HD 1080p video on you HDTV with Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD multi-channel digital surround sound. The slideshow mode which lets you browse digital photos on your TV with your desired background music. For easy file browsing, the NMP-1000 will automatically find all digital media on the internal disk, mounted remote disks and on your home network and organizes them into a categorized library. This navigation system lets you sort and search your multimedia files systematically and specify different ratings for the music and video files. It has has support for popular applications such as YouTube, flickr and SHOUTcast internet radio.
