Agreed: "If the unit is on for too long it will freeze, starting with the video, then the audio, after it is totally locked it will power off for about 20 seconds, then go through a full restart, including downloading the program guide. This means that you will be without use of the unit for about 5 minutes, a disaster when you are recording from the unit. If you don't catch it quick enough when it starts to lock up you can NOT force it to recycle."
New pro/con: can't set the time, and it loses time & gives different times when on different channels
New pro/con: can't force the program guide to download, it will do it when it turns on or not, according to it's choice
New pro/con: Randomly turns itself on
