The Razer Piranha is a stereo headphone/microphone combo designed specifically for gamers. Released in August 2008, the Piranha features a noise canceling microphone, in line volume and microphone controls, and a specially tweaked sound signature for improving a gamers ability to hear in game effects. Despite its acceptable game-saving spacial and detail qualities, many reviewers find the Piranha's exorbitant price and head clamping fit to be painful and not worth the price.
