The RCA RTD215 is an entry-level 5.1 channel home theater system that is suitable for small sized rooms. The system is comprised of four satellite speakers, one center speaker, and a 40-watt subwoofer which gives it a total system power of 200 watts. It features Dolby Digital 5.1 channel surround sound technology to provide a full, wide band frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. The RTD215 includes a progressive scan DVD player that offers multi-format playback to give it support for rewritable discs, VCD, SVCD, MP3, and WMA files. The DVD player also has a digital AM/FM tuner and a USB input for playing music, photos, and videos directly from an MP3 player or digital camera. The system is Energy Star qualified with low power consumption in standby mode and is available in a silver and black finish.
