The RCA RTD317 is an entry-level 5.1 channel home theater system that is suitable for small sized rooms and is more powerful than the RTD315. The system is comprised of four satellite speakers, one center speaker, and a 50-watt subwoofer which gives it a total system power of 250 watts. It features Dolby Digital 5.1 channel surround sound technology to provide a full, wide band frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. The RTD317 includes a progressive scan DVD player that offers multi-format playback to give it support for rewritable discs, VCD, SVCD, MP3, and WMA files. The DVD player offers 1080p upconversion and has an HDMI output for high definition graphics. It also has a digital AM/FM tuner, offers CD ripping, and has a USB input for playing music, photos, and videos directly from an MP3 player or digital camera. The system is available in a black finish and comes with a 90-day limited warranty.
