It sounds pretty good, but if you have a W6 or W&amp; speaker it would be best to save a few more bucks and get the 1000/1v2.  It's a lot more powerful.  You can get one for $700 if you shop around but be careful who ya buy it from.  Also, unless you listen to rock, make sure your W6 or W7 sub is in a ported box. for the W7 the JL HO box is unbelievable.  But, bottum line is the HD is smaller, but doesnt have the solid power the Slash series has.  Trust me on this one..."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description>
