RedFlagDeals.com

RedFlagDeals.com is Canada's largest bargain shopping community. They search the online stores and store flyers for the best prices, free stuff, and Canadian coupons. A great site for Canadians looking for deals online. While Canada might get short-changed in the online shopping world, RFD tries to level the playing field. Moving from the US back to Canada was difficult as far as giving up a lot of the privileges of online shopping. RFD helps fill the gap left by the horrible state of e-commerce in Canada. Go to hbc.com and you'll see what I mean.

RedFlagDeals is a great website to find coupons and deals, however if you make too many posts on the forums you will be banned for no reason, or they will say that you made racist remarks about a moderator, and then not only will you not be able to post, but the ban us usually an IP-based ban, which means that you can't even access the site.

hrm.. I don't see why anyone would be banned for making too many posts, unless they're obvious spam, and that kind of thing. But if they're helpful and contribute to the discussion you can never have too many! So post away!

The comments posted by peterggmss are a little bias and really hold no truth. First off, RedFlagDeals is a GREAT site for everything that has to do with a deal. Posted during and sometimes before a great offer, a whole discussion takes place between experts and every-day-joes. The whole community is friendly and there are definitely more lurkers than users benefitting from the website. Due to its popularity, the site also offers a full message board, with "Computers" "Entertainment" and even "Parenting" "Sports" and a "Green" forum. In there, the site is moderated for content where users will be banned for racist or offensive comments, obviously. Warnings, temporary bans, then IP Bans. That's probably the worst thing they would do and only do that after many, many warnings. I've been a user for years and I'm on it several hours every day. The joke to myself is I've saved tons of cash because of the site, but at the same time I've spent lots as well (buying things I would have probably missed or didn't get a chance to pick up without seeing it on RFD).

Check it out ... you'll see there's a lot out there.

why dont you check out shopandsave.com
Its Canada's first classified website and local deals website.

The forums are way easer to use than redflagdeals.com

They offer the user everything they are looking for from iphones, ipods, automobiles, concert tickets, and everything you can think of.
RFD offers users what paid advertiers offer. Not what the users want.

im a shopandsave.com fan

www.shopandsave.com is clean and very user friendly.

It looks like kijiji has something to worry about.

im feeling shopandsave.com no banners and more stuf than kijiji.ca

im still a craigslist.com fan but i think im going to hit up shopandsave.com

I'm starting to get the impression you're a fan of shopandsave. I just checked it out, and, guess what? I'm not.

RFD is a great website because of its strong community, which is something shilling doesn't help build.

Preferential treatment to certain demographics. If you are asian, then you can pretty much post whatever you want. if you're not, then you will get banned.
