Zildjian’s K Custom is a series of cast bronze cymbals inspired by company founder Kerope Zildjian’s original line, constructed using special hammering techniques. The Zildjian K Custom Hybrid Ride 21" was designed in coordination with top Japanese drummer Akira Jimbo. The medium weight cymbal’s design features an buffed, unlathed center for defined stick attack, with a powerful bell. The lathed outer edge increases speed and crash potential.

Based on the popular 19” Armand “Beautiful Baby” Ride and the 60’s sound, this ride cymbal is part of Zildjian’s Classic A series, characterized by new shaping techniques, lower profile, and lighter weight, resulting in lower pitched overtones without projection loss. It has a larger cup size for bell access, 80/20 copper tin ratio, measures 20in by 20in by 2in and weighs 4.5lbs.

The Zildjian K Custom High Definition Ride 22" has been redesigned by Terri Lyne Carrington to be thinner than its predecessors, allowing greater crash and feel while riding. With a good amount of body and tone, they hold up in both acoustic and electric settings. The spiral lathing top, and flat bottom allow the ride to retain dryness and stick definition.
