RIM's BlackBerry Bold 9650 is a smartphone that maintains the standard BlackBerry design and is based on the Bold 9700 model, and in fact shares many of its features. The main differences are that the 9650 has a higher internal memory capacity (512 MB) and it comes with a 2GB microSD card (the 9700 comes with nothing). Also, the 9650 is compatible with different wireless networks, most notably the CDMA2000 800/1900 and UMTS 2100 bands. Other features are typical to the BlackBerry line, including email, organizers, browser, media player and GPS receiver, all of which work on the high-speed 3G network. Its camera resolution is 3.2MP and allows video recording. Input devices are a typical QWERTY keyboard and an optical trackpad (the latter is RIM's replacement for the standard trackball). Users can also use the speakerphone to have a conversation while using email or browser utilities simultaneously.
