Three years in the making, the BlackBerry Pearl is the latest smartphone offering from Research In Motion. Features a trackball navigation system and SureType keypad as RIM has dropped their full QWERTY keyboard in favour of 2 letters per button interface. A 240 x 260 high resolution large light sensing display embedded within a sleek design. While supporting the standard phone, email, internet, and mp3 you can also subscribe to Blackberry Maps service. Built-in 64 MB of memory expandable with a removable MicroSD memory card. Released in the US September 12, 2006. Available with T-Mobile for $199 with a 2-year subscription.
