The BlackBerry Storm 2—unofficially dubbed Blackberry Storm 9550—was announced during the mid-portion of July, 2009. It is slated for a September release and according to reports, will be supported by AT&T, Rogers, Vodafone and Verizon, to name a few. It will be a follow-up to the first Storm, which incidentally was also the very first touchscreen Blackberry to ever be released. The most notable upgrade is the addition of Wi-Fi support. Additional features of the BlackBerry Storm 2 will include a 3.2 megapixel camera, quad-band GSM, and EDGE data transfer.
