These gloves are very comfortable both to wear and to hit with, but I really don't like the closure system, which consists of a wraparound velcro strap and an elastic cover. Putting them on properly is a two-person job, which is fine for a competition glove but annoying for a training glove. This may not bother some people, but it's enough to keep me from recommending them. I prefer a Thai-style wraparound velcro closure. Interestingly, Ringside offers an IMF Tech bag glove with a Thai-style closure, but not a sparring glove. If they ever make one, I'll be among the first in line to try it and would fully expect to love it.
