"Hello Wsjarhead: From what I read in many forums this the best that could be done about the Auto focus on the Aiptek Action HD. Use lots of light and the focusing won't search, it will lock better. Don't focus on one uniform color like a blue sky, have contrast, like a scenery. Some forum members say that maybe a new firmware may come out hopefully one day that will correct this AutoFocus problem. Or we all have to wait for the next generation of Aiptek camcorders. "Greetings: First lets make it clear the Aiptek Action HD is not a Pro Camcorder. But the HD video quality is very good, at times its excellent. Where the camcorder fails is the audio, or the microphone to be exact. It too sensitive, and personally I believe this could have been fixed before the camcorder went into production. But what makes the Action HD a Camcorder magnet, is that for $200.00 you have a HD camcorder, now that is worth it."

"Greetings: I am not a fan of Closed products. The Ipod touch has a sealed battery and a sealed flash memory card. Its like someone baked the best birthday cake but the cream and cherry on top are fake. Regards Robert"

"Greetings: The success of the Nokia N800 is due to the help of the Maemo community. When I have a problem I just post a message in the community and I get a response within half a day. That is unheard of in today's standards. Nokia was very successful to make the N800 an open source tablet and it will continue to progress for years to come. "Greetings: The Sanyo HD1000 may be the first true HD camcorder, but it hasn't any spark. I believe that Sanyo can improve on the video quality and still image quality. By spring or early summer 2008 Sanyo will probably unviel a better camcorder with improved compression for video. Pricing has to be reviewed because most consumers are willing to pay below the $700.00 US dollar mark. Regards Robert"
