"I wouldn't recommend Sony.  I'd recommend Yamaha.  Look into the RX-V663.  It can be had for under $400.00 and it has all of the features that will not have you looking ot upgrade in about 2 years or less. "

New pro/con: Has matte screen type. Not that annoying glossy screen thats on some of Samsungs higher end sets.
New pro/con: Excellent picture with 720p resolution. Not a problem in a 32" screen
New pro/con: Has a swivel base.

New pro/con: Can run a little hot. USB port does allow for a USB powered laptop cooler to be placed underneath the unit.
New pro/con: there have been some complaints of audio drops during playback of certain disks.
New pro/con: Is BD 2.0 profile ready via promised firmware upgrade.
New pro/con: Has ethernet and USB ports for firmware upgrades.

"I've had this unit for about a month now. Its my 1st BluRay purchase and I'm very happy with this unit. I've only noticed audio dropouts while watching the Rattatoulie and the latest Rambo movie only. They are hard to notice unless your looking for them."
