"Well, the 4400ES is essentially the same thing as the 5300ES. Hopefully, the issues will be taken care of. But, I think I'm moving on. The Onkyo does have less HDMI inputs, but....it has great THX features, ISF Video calibration for individual inputs, more power, and better video upscaling with the HQV Reon. I think it's a better deal."

"I plan to purchase one of these within the next month. I'm waiting on my check from Sony, on a buyback of the STR-DA5300ES. We couldn't seem to get all the kinks worked out, but kudos to Sony's customer support."
