The Rotel RSX-1560 is a 7.1-channel A/V receiver from Rotel's 15 Series that is an upgrade to the RSX-1550. The receiver offers 100-watts per channel of continuous power at 8 ohms or 200 watts per channel at 4 ohms, making it powerful enough for large rooms. It features a high performance Class-D amplifier design and supports most of the popular Dolby and DTS decoders including Dolby TrueHD, ProLogic IIx, Dolby Digital Plus, dts HD Master Audio, and dts Hi-Resolution. The RSX-1560 includes an integrated FM/AM tuner with 30 presets and features multizone audio for up to three additional rooms. It also offers video upconversion to 1080p and has a wide range of connectivity options including four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. The receiver comes with a learning remote control and is available in a black or silver finish.

- The GUI which appears on TV can be improved. The back speaker terminals dont take 10AWG wire hence bannana pugs/ connectors are required.
- Not many additional features for the price

- Class D amplification - light, energy efficient and cool compared to other forms
- available in black or silver
- good value for the high end audiophile setup
- integrated FM/AM tuner
- sounds amazing for both music and movies
Cons
- very expensive for the majority of consumers
- aesthetically busy faceplate
- Blue LED power indicator
- B&W display
- no 'general consumer' extras such as satellite radio compatibility, auto setup, iPod dock or room correction
- still quite heavy (34 pounds)
