S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
Another nuclear disaster at Chernobyl. Russian shoulders surround the area, hoping to contain whatever happended within. They begin to hear wierd shrieks and screams coming from the disaster area. Some go in to investigate the noises, some never come back. They are the STALKERS, searching the 30-kilometer area and reporting there findings back to the authorities.

Details
STALKER is a first person shooter with a very open structure. The creatures look as though they came out of a surrival horror game, the grotesqe monsters that prowl the area are the stuff of nightmares. You are able to drive vehicles or take on the creatures on foot with a large arsenal of weaponry. As you explore the area, you may begin to understand the Chernobyl disaster more clearly. Just hope you survive...

- Amazing fire feature; fire lives, breathes and spreads realistically
- gorgeous graphics with a high level of immersion
- No loading when going into buildings or new across areas
Cons
- Takes a very long time to get from one area to another, there is a transportation system but location points are limited.
- Game-play becomes repetitive after some time
- driving around is constantly interrupted by enemy vehicles making transportation a big pain
