New pro/con: Back light is too bright and has no dimmer function other than for the display.
New pro/con: Really nice unit especially with the USB Port.

Aside from the backlit, was there anything wrong with the unit? I'm probably going to grab one from bestbuy, but noticed the mid range reviews there as well.
