Salute Medicine Chest

A medicine chest with a straight-forward design. The chest is basically an unadorned box on the outside, inside it is large enough to hold many products of varying sizes, and it locks. The new twist is the material, translucent plastic. The protective quality of a medicine chest is seemingly breached by one's ability to see through it, but this is also where the beauty comes from. It is beautiful like and x-ray image. One sees shadows of the products it holds and of the inner geometry of the chest. Mr. Allen reinforces this geometry by layering grid over grid, like a "plaid" pattern.
